What is a meniscus? It is an upwards curve of a glass or plastic container it is in.glass and plastic contains polar molecules, water will form a meniscus at the sides of a plastic or glass container it is in.What do
I mean by that?Polar molecules tend to stick
together. So,when water is put in a plastic or
glass container, the polar molecules in the water and container stick together. That causes the water to creep up the sides of the container
and form a meniscus.
