What is Greenwich Meridian Time or why is it called by this name?
It is measured from Greenwich Meridian Line at the Royal Observatory
in Greenwich,England.It is the average time that the earth takes to
rotate from noon to noon.
Actually,I still do not understand what it means.So what if it is
the average time that the earth takes to rotate?Does that show anything?
