24k gold stands for 24 karat gold,which is pure gold.
24k is a bright gold colour but it is very soft and bends very easily.
There are other golds,such as 14k,which are made up of pure gold and other metals
to make it hard enough to be used to make jewellery such as rings.
But actually,why is it gold measured in 'karat'?Isn't diamond measured in 'karat' too?
Do they have any 'relations'?
